Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor, director, producer, playwright, educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory of playing rehearsals together with her mother. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was just a child. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 to continue her acting. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got engaged in 2009, and then married in an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows after her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good news that she had become pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase during the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) as one of their most favored TV couple. Entertainment Television.
